Originating from the misty highlands of Enshi, Hubei, En Shi Yu Lu (恩施玉露), also known as Enshi Jade Dew, is one of China’s distinctive steamed green teas. Unlike most Chinese green teas, which are traditionally pan-fired, En Shi Yu Lu is carefully steamed to preserve the leaves’ vivid green colour, fresh aroma, and delicate character.
Slender, pine-needle-shaped leaves unfurl into a clear, jade-like infusion with fresh grassy aromas, gentle floral sweetness, and hints of chestnut. Smooth and mellow on the palate, its delicate umami depth gives way to a clean, refreshing finish that captures the quiet elegance of Enshi’s mountain tea heritage.
