Originating from Anji County, Zhejiang, An Ji Bai Cha (安吉白茶), or Anji White Tea, is a distinctive green tea prized for its pale jade leaves and refined character. Despite its name, it is crafted from a rare albino tea cultivar whose young shoots turn pale yellowish-white during the cool early spring.
Silky and refreshing, it offers delicate orchid-like florals, gentle vegetal notes, and hints of sweet corn and chestnut. Its naturally sweet, umami-rich character and low bitterness create an elegant, clean finish that lingers on the palate.
Tasting Notes: Orchid, sweet corn, chestnut, delicate vegetal notes, and soft umami sweetness.
